Saskatoon-based artist Ed Pas has been doing some very interesting writing about the status of the City's involvement with the proposed Mendel Art Gallery expansions and how art gallery admission fees might intersect with this. This post reminds me of an interesting piece of information I've come across recently... did anyone know that the RCMP museum, upon reopening plans to charge $12?
That seems pretty steep, especially given that Regina has been trained to expect free services...
Bet they'll notice that people are a bit put off by that price. It's not exactly cheap!
